If you’re into mountains, metaphorically or literally, or if you’re still not sure, I’d posted some photos in an album called “Briançon & mountains.”Amateurs of the “Tour de France” may recognize some of the places.
One thing I would recommend, though, is that no matter the season, you bring winter gear even if you are going on a day-trip on a supposedly sunny summer’s Sunday… because sitting at 2,400 m, at +10c, with a stiff wind blowing off a glacier, it can get rather cold after a while.
